It was first released in South Korea during 2005. The story takes place in the mythical world known as Nevareth. The world was overrun and eventually destroyed by a wicked force known as the CABAL. Out of the survivors, seven masters rose up, and set out to rebuild their lost world. They instructed and guided their people until Nevareth was rebuilt. Champions Online: In this wondrous world of heroes, players can create and customize their own heroes and arch-nemesis. Champions Online is a F2P MMORPG and is currently in beta stage. It’s a game similar to City of Heroes. There are many different options available to the players such as: giving your hero or villain different powers, changing/editing the color of skills and effects, and even assigning minions to your arch-nemesis. Throughout the game, your arch-nemesis will ambush you until you permanently defeat it. You will then have the option of creating a new enemy or simply finishing out your hero’s career in peace. Champions Online is just one great game out of all the Adventure Games Online.

The Chronicles of Spellborn: TCoS (The Chronicles of Spellborn) is a great 3D MMORPG brought to you by Acclaim and Frogster Interactive. Acclaim really knows how to do Adventure Games Online. This is another MMO which has a post-apocalyptic setting. In TCoS you may choose from three main classes and branch out your character from there. The three main classes are: Warrior, Mage and Rogue. As a warrior, you can advance to a Bloodwarrior, Wrathguard, or an Adept. As a mage, you can advance to an Ancestral, a Void Seer, or a Rune Mage. As a Rogue, you can advance to a Deathhand, Skinshifter, or Trickster. This game is very similar to traditional MMORPG’s, but focuses more on quests and each character’s main storyline.

Chronicles of Gyron: Here is a fun 2D MMORPG. Even though the Chronicles of Gyron is mostly a story-based RPG, players are able to do plenty of their own exploring. Thus making it one of the many great Adventure Games Online. CoG (Chronicles of Gyron) is a basic, easy-running 2D game. The game takes place in a world magical world full of life. However, throughout the story, chaos breaks lose throughout the land. Within the chaos, two kingdoms wage war against one another. The war seems endless, and either side calls out for help. City of Heroes: City of Heroes (CoH) is an MMORPG similar to Champions online. Everything is based off of comic book super heroes! In this fun MMO, players start out by creating their own unique hero. As they complete character creation, players can choose their own hero powers and costume. Once you’ve created a name and description for your character, you’re set to either begin the game play tutorial, or warp to one of the starting towns. Throughout the game players can fight arch enemies and defeat a variety of villains.

City of Villains: The City of Villains is a sequel to the best-selling City of Heroes. The game has all of the same features as City of Heroes, plus some bonuses. Instead of controlling a hero, players can play as villains. Like CoH (City of Heroes), players can customize their villain and give him/her unique attributes and powers. Instead of fighting villains, players will be able to fight heroes. There are also certain areas where players can fight against other villains (PvP). Clan Lord: Clan Lord was Macintosh’s first MMORPG. For some time, it was a P2P, but a sudden decrease in players caused this to change. In Clan Lord, you take on the role as an outcast. You were thrown out of the Empire for crimes against the Emperor. You may become a warrior, archer or mystic. Club Penguin: Club Penguin is an MMO developed by Club Penguin Entertainment (formerly known as New Horizon Interactive). In this game, players control a penguin and can participate in a variety of mini-games and activities. Players can also walk around and chat with other penguins (players). Concerto Gate: Concerto Gate is an MMORPG developed by Ponsbic and Square Enix. Square enix is famous for their smash hits and Adventure Games Online. The game underwent a long development time. The game is actually 2.5D, with 2D backgrounds and 3D characters. This element alone makes Conquer Online a unique game. Conquer Online also has a one-of-a-kind Mentoring System. This allows high level players to help beginners. As a result, the higher level player will receive bonuses such as extra exp gained. This system makes it easy for new players to get a head start on their adventure and jump into the world of Conquer Online.

Cronous: Cronous is a unique 3D MMORPG. It has many of the common RPG elements such as gaining experience to level up, completing a variety of quests, and partying with other players. However, Aeria Games wanted to make Cronous a little different from other MMORPG’s by adding a few extra features. One of these extraordinary features is the addition of Growth Items. There are unique growth items for each class and level up as the player levels up. These Growth Items and Weapons can be customized in many different ways. Cross Gate: Here is another cute 2.5D anime-style MMORPG. Like most 2.5D games, Cross Gate has beautiful 2D backgrounds with cute 3D characters. Many of you may have heard, but Concerto Gate is actually the sequel to this smash hit. In Cross Gate, players may catch creatures (similar to Pokémon) and raise them as their own. A player can carry up to 5 creatures with them, and may use only one at a time in battle. There is also a marketplace where players can go to buy or sell their unique creatures.
